Angika are the UK's leading South Indian dance company; their work is committed to regenerating the rich vocabulary of classical Bharata Natyam dance for the modern stage.

On the 11th of June GemArts will be presenting Angika who will be performing their highly acclaimed new show Bhakti at the Jubilee Theatre, Newcastle upon Tyne. This will be a unique opportunity to see a rare fusion of traditional Indian dance set to contemporary music.
