Emerald Explorers at Masala Festival
GemArts is teaming up with Gateshead Emerald Explorers and Gateshead Arts Team to engage people of retirement age in creative workshops at Gateshead Central Library to celebrate Masala Festival 2023.
 
Mani Kambo is a moving image and print artist and is influenced by every day rituals and precautionary actions taken from superstitions. Join Mani to create repeat patterns, motifs and symbols to decorate your own printed tote bag. Inspired by South Asian superstitions, myths and storytelling.
