An outstanding vocalist, Swati Natekar is one of the most respected voices in Indian music in the UK. She has performed and toured extensively across the world, and collaborated with the likes of Ustad Zakhir Hussain, Ghulam Ali, Nitin Sawhney and Sonu Nigam.
Swati will be presenting a very special concert, including classic Bollywood songs, popular Ghazals and a tribute to Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh. She will be accompanied by an incredible line up of musicians.

Swati Natekar
The voice behind hit songs like Nadia (with Nitin Sawhney), Khwaab (with Niraj Chag) & Jakatta American Dream (#3 in UK main charts), Swati Natekar is a daughter and disciple of renowned Hindustani Classical academic & scholar Vidushi Dr. Sushila Pohankar. She is a UK based Indian Classical, Ghazal and World music singer, songwriter and composer, who is also known for her collaborations with Ustad Zakir Hussain, Talvin Singh, Craig Armstrong, Sonu Nigam & Muzaffer Ali. Swati has released several acclaimed albums and has performed extensively at reputed international venues, both nationally and internationally in Europe, Caribbean, South Africa, India, Karachi, Nairobi. Swati’s voice also features on a Hollywood Warner Brothers movie ‘The In-Laws’, and ‘The Republic Of Love’, directed by Deepa Mehta. Having featured over 25 albums so far, Swati has also released her own Ghazal albums ‘Dhanak’ & ‘Anjuman’; a Fusion album ‘Destiny Chakra’ and Thumri album “Anuraag”.
Swati had her lead vocals on the theme song for Commonwealth Games in Delhi in 2010, specially recorded for BBC. Swati has also recorded, composed & sung a track for the Queen’s gallery at Buckingham Palace, London. It has also been an honour for Swati to represent UK & record the Bhajan “Vaishnav Jan” for the celebration of 150th year of Gandhi Jayanti. Also, she composed & sang poetry from “Geet Govind” for an exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, London.
