GemArts popular family arts event welcomes the Chinese New Year of the Dog with block printing, calligraphy, origami and other arts, music and dance from around the world.

Arts Activities include:

·         Chinese paperfolding and crafts

·         Chinese Large scale block printing

·         Chinese Calligraphy

·         Face Painting 

·         Mexican God eye weaving 

·         Silkpainting and puppets

·         Craft stalls

·         Steel Pans 

·         Tai Chi and Chinese Dance Demos 

*A Relaxed Session will run 10-11am for visitors who may benefit from a quieter, more relaxed environment. Booking required for relaxed session only, email info@gemarts.org / call 0191 4404124 Mon–Fri.
