As part of GemArts Festival of Lights season we bring you on the 5th November at Caedmon Hall in Gateshead, Kala Ramnath who is one of India?s foremost violinists.

Kala was born into a family of prodigious musical talent, which has given Indian music such violin legends as Prof T.N. Krishnan and Dr N. Rajam. For the past 15 years her musical talent has been nurtured and enriched by Mewati vocal maestro, Pandit Jasraj.
