THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE. PLEASE VISIT THE WHATSON PAGE FOR INFORMATION ON SIMILAR UPCOMING EVENTS.
Join GemArts artists and friends during half term for this family event celebrating diversity and art from around the world. From African drumming and Bollywood dance to Indian rangoli, silk painting, Chinese origami, henna, Korean kites and storytelling, the Mini Mela offers fun activity for everyone to join in.
Some of our good friends will also be sharing information on their work and the services available across Gateshead, as well as stalls selling gifts and a few extra treats to be enjoyed on the day.
African drumming and Indian dance workshops have limited capacity and places will be given on a first come basis. Please speak to a member of staff at the event to book your place.
Presented with Gateshead Council Culture Team.
