As part of Gateshead International Jazz Festival GemArts welcomes Arun Ghosh back to the region. The British-Asian clarinettist and composer has become a leading light on both the national and international jazz scene, captivating audiences and critics with his trademark IndoJazz sound, passionate and dynamic performance style, eloquent musical expression and a healthy dose of rock ‘n’ roll spirit.

This appearance celebrates the band’s release of a new EP in March and new music being created for Arun’s forthcoming album.

Arun will also spend 3 days with Roman Road Primary school, pupils will have the opportunity to create a special composition, which they will perform live at Sage Gateshead at 5.30pm on 15^th April.
