Anu-bhaava – experiencing emotions through dance
GemArts presents Anu-bhaava, a breathtaking Kuchipudi performance. This Classical Indian dance originating from Andhra Pradesh, is now popular all over South India, and has developed from a purely male dance form to one performed with exquisite and distinct style by both male and female dancers.
Payal began her award winning journey as a Kuchipudi dancer when she was four years old, and since then has continued striving towards perfection and excellence with dedication and unstinted support and guidance from world renowned teachers; Gurus Raja and Radha Reddy, Gurus Jaya Rama Rao and Vanashree Rao (Padmashri) and now Gurus Jaikishore Mosalikanti & Padmavani Mosalikanti. A true proponent of this beautiful dance form, Payal has performed in festivals both in India and abroad, and also teaches younger generations through workshops and demonstrations.
