This exciting event ‘A Musical Journey through Bollywood’ features emerging vocalists Pooja Angra and Karan Rana, alongside a host of talented musicians. During the 3 hour event, musicians will take the audience on a musical journey through some of the greatest Bollywood classics originally performed by legendry singers including Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi, A.R. Rehman and many others.

There is a pay bar available at this event, and during the interval delicious traditional Indian food will be available to purchase.


About the Artists:

Pooja:
Pooja is an established British Asian artist who attained her doctorate in music from Delhi University in India. She continues to deliver excellent performances, concerts and workshops in the UK, and is a frequent performer on the BBC Asian network and other radio channels. She has also been a regular performer on the All India Radio (A.I.R) and on Indian national television, Doordarshan. Her natural musical talent has been nurtured by distinguished musicians of India. 

Karan:
Karan stepped into the world of music at the very young age of 5. He is an extremely able musician who has trained with renowned musicians from India. Karan has performed at festivals and concerts in England and Scotland, and in London, he frequently performs at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan.
