GemArts and Mohammed 'Aerosol' Ali are working with a St Cuthberts' community group to create an art installation, which will form part of the BBC and The Cultural Spring's The Great North Passion. The project includes artists working in 12 local communities, each responding to a theme from the stations of the cross. Completed shipping containers will then be moved to Bents Park, to join 50 more, for a live performance event on Good Friday.
