Bollywood AV

Bollywood AV was an audio visual project which gave many young people the opportunity to learn new and exciting techniques while working towards a final event with an audience.

We looked at ways of using cultural influences and created a new performance from it by teaching basic video editing, camera techniques and DJ mixing. The project focused mainly on Bollywood films and Bhangra music.

The young people who took part worked with Name who mentored and developed the project and introduced everyone to the art of VJing.

The 10 workshops culminated in an exciting showcase at Secco where relatives and friends came along to see the result of all the hard work and dedication that was put into this project.
