The Sense of an Ending - Call out for stories from women of the North East
Story call out: Do you have a story that is waiting to be told?
Red Road Dance Theatre are creating a new work and are looking for women of the North to contribute their tales of real life endings - The end of a love affair, a career, a childhood, the loss of a family member, fertility, friendship.
They want to hear of your experiences, the highs and lows that these endings brought about in your life.
There are no specifications - ALL WOMEN, ALL STORIES are welcome.
These tales will then create the foundation for a new production The Sense of an Ending, which will premiere at Dance City on 15th November 2014. The project is commissioned by Dance City and GemArts, supported by Arts Council England and produced by Spin Arts Management.
Stories, sound recordings, pictures, video's, blogs, emails, can be submitted to our artistic director Nadia Iftkhar.
You will have the option of remaining anonymous or being credited in the programme and website as contributor. You will be invited to an open
rehearsal and a celebratory event in November to thank you for being an important part of the work.
